Focus on FAFSA

MAAC is proud to partner with Fenix Consulting to offer FAFSA education and guidance for completion of the FAFSA form required for graduation and financial aid. We also offer resources for undocumented students.

Proven Success

MAAC's individualized curriculum and supportive, engaging environment equip scholars with tools to rise above their challenges and achieve their goals for personal and academic success.

After-School Program

MAAC's after-school program enlists a multifaceted approach to learning and growth by moving in a systematic monthly progression throughout the four years of high school. Our certified, caring staff work with individual scholars to provide a foundation and pathway to personal and academic achievement.

Through the MAAC afterschool program, scholars become fully prepared for their next steps: to college life.

Summer Boot Camp

It's no secret that choosing and applying for college is a big deal! MAAC's Summer College Readiness Boot Camp at Montclair State University takes the guesswork out of applying and sets scholars up with the information, tools, and guidance to navigate the college process with confidence.

Rising high school seniors work with MAAC's dedicated staff to pursue study interests, meet with college representatives and inspirational leaders, hone their ELA and writing skills, learn the ins and outs of required FAFSA documentation, and prepare their applications, essays, and interview material.

Through bonding experiences and a mindfulness component that is unique to MAAC, these scholars build a community of support and keep in touch throughout high school so they can cheer each other on and celebrate their college acceptances.

Green Reflection
Before coming to MAAC, I felt quite anxious about the college application process and all the factors involved in gaining admission and preparing for college. However, once I arrived, I quickly gained valuable knowledge and built connections with many wonderful staff members and fellow MAAC scholars, many of whom I still keep in touch with today.

MAAC is a truly special program because you can feel the love and care that each staff member invests in ensuring your success. You are not only seen in terms of the colleges you plan to attend; you are recognized for much more.
